Ezidi Times is looking for writers, editorial interns, students, journalists, researchers, and contributors who want to help strengthen independent Ezidi journalism.
This is currently an unpaid, remote and flexible opportunity. It is suitable for applicants who want to gain published writing experience, build their portfolio, and contribute to meaningful reporting about Ezidis.
We are especially interested in applicants with a background in journalism, law, history, sociology, political science, human rights, or related fields. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but motivated students and early-career writers are also welcome to apply.
Writers may contribute by covering local news from the area where they are based, writing about Ezidi-related events, conducting interviews, or reporting on global topics that are relevant to Ezidis.
Start Date: September 2026
The position is expected to start in September 2026, or on another agreed-upon date depending on the applicant’s availability.
The initial term is one year.
The expected workload will be agreed individually, depending on the applicant’s availability, background and area of interest.
