The Ezidi Cultural Centre in Tbilisi has opened registration for weekend Ezdiki language courses beginning on Saturday, 7 November 2026. Classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday at the cultural centre attached to the city’s Ezidi temple.
The courses will provide learners with regular opportunities to study Ezdiki, while supporting the preservation and transmission of the language among Ezidis in Georgia.
According to the centre’s announcement, registration is open to anyone interested in participating. Prospective learners can enrol in person at the cultural centre, located in the Varketili-3 district of Tbilisi.
The announcement did not specify lesson times, age requirements, proficiency levels, tuition fees or a registration deadline. Those interested in joining should visit the centre for further information.
Regular language instruction is particularly important for younger Ezidis growing up outside traditionally Ezdiki-speaking environments. Weekend courses can help make learning more accessible while creating a shared space in which the language can be spoken, taught and passed to future generations.
