The Hasna A. case is back in court in the Netherlands. This is the appeal, after the first trial, and it directly deals with crimes committed by ISIS against Ezidis.
The hearings are from 9–12 February 2026 at the Schiphol Judicial Complex, starting at 10:00 a.m. each day. They are open to the public, with live streaming and limited in-person seating. The proceedings will be in Dutch, with translation available.
This is the first case in the Netherlands addressing crimes against Ezidis. It shows that accountability can reach perpetrators, even years later and far from where the crimes happened.
Ezidis, journalists, and supporters of justice are encouraged to follow the hearings online or in person. The world will be watching.
