Şêx Nûrî Şêxnamatî, a leader of the Spiritual Council of Ezidis in Georgia and custodian of the Ezidi temple in Tbilisi, participated in an international conference commemorating the 1,700th anniversary of Georgia’s Christianisation.
His attendance brought an Ezidi religious representative to a gathering devoted to a major anniversary in Georgia’s religious history. Alongside his responsibilities within the Spiritual Council, he oversees the temple in the Georgian capital, where Ezidis practise their religion, Sharfadin.
The announcement confirmed his participation but did not identify the conference’s exact date, venue or organisers. It also did not specify whether he delivered an address or took part in a particular discussion.
