Ezidi Times is proud to welcome a new team member, correspondent Salman Ibrahim, who joins us in our work to strengthen the voices of Ezidis worldwide.
Salman comes from an Ezidi family with roots in modern-day Turkey and brings deep experience in translation, teaching, and supporting Ezidis in their studies. He has collaborated closely with Ezidi survivors, documenting their stories with care and precision.
He is also a co-producer of Mediha, an award-winning film that has earned more than 33 international prizes and nominations, including recognition from both the IDA and the PGA.
Through his reporting, Salman will explore how Ezidis have spoken out in recent years, highlight overlooked moments in Ezidi history, and examine the current situation and the future of Ezidis in Iraq.
