The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has published the 2025 schedule for voluntary teacher certification. According to the official announcement, exams for teachers in public educational institutions will be held throughout November and December, covering a wide range of subjects — from geography and chemistry to arts and foreign languages.
Importantly, this year’s schedule once again includes Ezdiki (the Ezidi language) among the paper-based exams, alongside Persian and Assyrian. The Ezdiki exam is set for November 15 at 12:00 p.m., marking a continued step toward recognizing the cultural and linguistic diversity of Armenia’s educational landscape.
Voluntary certification allows teachers to demonstrate their qualifications and gain professional advancement. The inclusion of Ezdiki is not only a formal acknowledgment of Ezidi’s presence and contribution to Armenian society but also an affirmation of the importance of preserving and teaching the language for future generations.
Exam participants can find detailed information about exam centers and schedules at matyan.emis.am or at.emis.am, depending on their registration platform. Additional inquiries can be directed to 010-599699 (ext. 620).
